NAIROBI –
Dr Miguna Miguna has taken aim at Citizen TV Kenya, accusing the broadcaster of deliberately censoring part of his recent interview and siding with what he called “impunity merchants.”

In a sharply worded post shared on his verified X account, Miguna directly questioned the station’s editorial motives.
“How much of Matiang’i’s looted public money did he pay you?” he asked, tagging the media outlet.
He went on to accuse the station of abandoning journalistic principles:
“You have disgraced yourselves by becoming the mouthpiece of impunity merchants.”
Miguna claimed that Citizen TV removed a segment of the interview where he referred to a quote often attributed to French philosopher Voltaire.
“You even edited out my interview where I invoked the statement attributed to Voltaire about absurdities,” he added.
His remarks were brief but strongly worded, reflecting frustration with how his views were represented on-air. The post, which was publicly viewable as of Monday, stirred reactions from followers who both echoed and questioned his sentiments.
Miguna, known for his blunt tone and unapologetic style, did not provide further context or follow-up after the initial post.
As of now, no other details have been shared regarding the interview in question, nor has any formal reply been issued on the platform by the broadcaster.
