Chelsea Football Club are making bold moves in the summer transfer window, with interest growing in Manchester United’s Alejandro Garnacho and Paris Saint-Germain’s Gianluigi Donnarumma, according to sources close to the club.
The Blues, who recently lifted the FIFA Club World Cup, appear eager to strengthen key areas of their squad while offloading several players seen as surplus to requirements.

Talks remain at an early stage, but Garnacho is understood to be highly rated by Chelsea’s recruitment team. The 20-year-old Argentine winger, who has impressed under Erik ten Hag, is seen as a long-term investment – though any deal would be difficult given his importance at Old Trafford.

In goal, Chelsea are reportedly exploring a surprise move for Italy international Gianluigi Donnarumma, whose future at PSG has come under fresh scrutiny following a turbulent season. With Robert Sánchez iconsitency coat Stamford Bridge, the addition of Donnarumma would likely prompt further changes.
At the same time, Nicolas Jackson, who arrived just last summer, could be on his way out. Reports suggest Manchester United are among the clubs monitoring his situation. Though Jackson scored key goals last season, inconsistency and poor finishing have raised questions about his long-term role under new head coach Enzo Maresca.
“Jackson’s raw talent is clear, but Chelsea need more reliability up front,” said a former Premier League scout familiar with the player’s development. “A move could benefit both sides.”
Meanwhile, Noni Madueke is also rumoured to be leaving, with Arsenal believed to be close to a deal. His potential departure would mark yet another young player exiting Chelsea’s crowded squad.
The west London club are expected to offload more players in the coming weeks. As Maresca looks to stamp his identity on the team, insiders say the goal is to balance youth with experience while cutting down what has become one of the league’s largest squads.
Chelsea declined to comment on ongoing transfer talks. Neither Manchester United nor PSG have issued formal responses regarding Garnacho or Donnarumma.
