Renowned reggae DJ and radio presenter Deejay Patiz has been struck by a heartbreaking tragedy with the sudden passing of his infant daughter, Baby Faizah.
Born on May 18, 2024, she lit up her family’s life for a brief but radiant time, leaving behind an unfillable void when she passed away three months later on September 14.
Deejay Patiz, a beloved figure known for hosting popular reggae shows on Radio Maisha and Vybz Radio, took to social media to express the depths of his grief.
“And today we laid baby Faizah to rest. Me sijui kama ntarecover from this. You will live in my heart forever and always, till we meet again, princess,” Deejay Patiz wrote, capturing the profound sorrow that envelops him.
“September 14 robbed me of my world… Even death will die one day, shine on your way, Baby Faizah,” DJ Patiz wrote, his words heavy with sorrow and love.
He shared the shocking reality of his loss, reflecting on the day before when his daughter was healthy and joyful.
“How do I explain to people that this is a photo from just yesterday when you were strong and jovial, and today you are no more? This one has really hurt me,” he lamented. Each word carried the weight of a father’s anguish, a poignant reminder of the fragility of life.
