The Macho Simple Boy

“Kajala! Mtoto lombolombo, mtoto kamirigado, mtoto parachichi, mtoto gooda gooda, mtoto amebeba ngongingo, mtoto ako checheche, mtoto yaani uko mwah mwah mwah. Hehe, Kajala mimi nakupenda, mwah!” So Stivo Simple Boy confessed his love publicly to the Tanzanian siren, Kajala Masanja.

Simple Boy is not short of antics; his fashion sense is one for the loony books with a sprinkle of Ye’s eccentricity. Having been thrust into the limelight by his hit single, ‘Vijana Tuache Mihadarati,” Simple Boy has managed to stay relevant in an industry littered with tombstones of one-hit wonders.

One may ask how that has been possible despite no substantial financial backing or rich corporate endorsements, a feat worth studying. However, it doesn’t take a rocket scientist or psych expert to see that Simple Boy is brimming with confidence and self-esteem—the two greatest weapons in a man’s arsenal.

The good book says more than 300 times, “Do not fear.”

And the simplest hack in life is this. Do not fear a fellow man, speak your mind and express your primal thoughts without fear of contradiction. This will catapult you to a sphere so much feared, you’ll be labeled crazy or drugged. However, despite the tags, your energy will resonate to the highest echelons of consciousness. You will be an unstoppable torpedo, blasting questionable norms out of the water.

A classic example is the celebrated artist and fashion designer, Kanye West, currently going by Ye. Mr. West is famed for his rants while appearing on TV shows or midway through a musical performance.

He has been labeled crazy on many occasions and even hospitalized for bipolar. However, Ye has come out severally claiming he was drugged by his doctors and forced to stay in a mental hospital despite his constant claim that he is okay.

Ironically, despite all of it being true, his controversial choice of topics to speak on has always landed him in the hot soup with corporate giants. He was labeled anti-Semitic for pointing out the Jewish influence on American politics and world policies.

Consequently, he lost a billion-dollar deal with Adidas, pulling his Yeezy fashion line out of their merchandise, and consequently losing close to 800 million dollars of unsold stock.

A turbulent lifestyle it has proven to be, for the former presidential aspirant, however, he has always stood by his words and continued to speak the truth for liberation. Our own Stivo Simple Boy seems to be cut from the same cloth as macho males. Despite not being overly vocal on political issues, Stivo Simple Boy has never shied from saying his mind.

There have been instances of condescending treatment from others, like the infamous interview with Obina, but he seems to be unscathed and unbothered.

“Kitu nachukia ni wase wengine wanamchukulia kama comedian na ni msanii mserious anapenda art yake, anaifanya na roho yake yote… Mi hukasirika mse haezi andika mistari tatu kwa twitter anachekelea msanii amedu ngoma na akashoot video, ka unajua unaeza criticize andika mistari tupatane kwa uwanja,” said Octopizzo.

It is said the flame makes the blade, I believe Simple Boy will be tempered over time, and be transformed into an unstoppable force of self-consciousness.
