Zari Hassan has apologised to her husband, Shakib Lutaaya, admitting that her recent social media outbursts were a result of frustration.
Speaking to the media, Zari revealed she is currently in Kampala trying to patch things up with her husband and acknowledged that her actions were misguided when she aired out their dirty laundry resulting from the Diamond Platnumz situation.
“Things happen… God created us to make mistakes… We make mistakes… But after you reflect and realise you went overboard,” Zari said, before adding, “I’m a stubborn woman. I’m an independent woman… I’m Zari the BossLady… But, in all honesty, I made a mistake… I had my frustrations.”
The BossLady took to social media to vent due to a build-up of frustrations, admitting that she chose the “wrong platform” to express her feelings. She reiterated that her actions were driven by her emotional state at the time.

It all started when Zari publicly revealed that her husband Shakib got pretty mad when Bongo superstar Diamond Pltanumz, her ex, showed up at their daughter Tiffah’s birthday party unannounced (like most surprises).
According to Zari, Shakib’s reaction stemmed from his insecurities and claimed she had no clue Diamond was planning to surprise their daughter on her birthday by showing up.
“My husband is very insecure and that is causing a lot of problems, I have to explain. A boss lady and I have to do a whole live just to prove a point to my husband. Go fix yourself, the problem is not with me. Go fix your insecurities, go fix your insecurities bro,” she blasted her husband.
To add insult to injury, in a leaked phone conversation making rounds on social media, Zari can be heard advising Shakib against visiting her in South Africa. This revelation added further tension to the already strained relationship between the two.
However, despite the turmoil, the couple was spotted over the weekend, publicly embracing during Jose Chameleone’s concert at the Kampala Serena Hotel.
Was it merely a ruse for attention, or was this a genuine conflict? It’s difficult to say, but time will reveal the truth. Stay tuned!
