Kenya ranked 17th among over 180 nations at the 2024 Paris Olympics, securing four gold, two silver, and five bronze medals.
Paris proved a better hunting ground with a significant overall improvement from the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, held in 2021, where Kenya placed 19th with four gold, four silver, and two bronze medals.
The US continued its dominance, having topped the table in 19 out of 30 Summer Olympics, starting from the very first in Athens in 1896, and six of the last seven.

China ended that streak in Beijing in 2008 and posed tough competition again, tying with the US in gold medals (40) but clinching second place due to fewer silvers.
Japan secured the third spot in Paris after finishing third in Tokyo, while Australia’s 18 gold medals earned them fourth place.
