Former TV presenter Ciru Muriuki took to social media to celebrate her late fiancé, Charles Ouda, on what would have been his 39th birthday.
She shared a series of touching videos on her stories, showing Charles’ bright moments, from singing along to Lionel Richie’s “All Night Long” to displaying his juggling skills, highlighting Ouda’s lively presence and cherished memories shared.
“Happy Birthday my love,” posted Ciru, accompanying a photo of Ouda, all smiles.
Charles, a man of many talents, passed away on Sunday, February 4. Though he may be gone, through his art, his legacy that spoke passion, courage, and commitment to African performing arts will live on in the hearts of those he touched through his work.

Describing Charles as someone who could brighten any room with his smile and eloquence, Ciru expressed how she carries him with her everywhere she goes, even wearing a Charles Ouda shirt during the recent protest in Nairobi’s CBD.
“I carry you with me everywhere I go,” Ciru captioned her photo wearing a Charles Ouda shirt while in the streets of Nairobi’s CBD during the recent Gen Z demonstrations.
