A woman named MercyKamantheStar on TikTok posted a video claiming that she has been in communication with Brian Chira on Monday, May 6. Brian Chira, a 23-year-old TikTok star, passed away on Saturday night, March 16. He was known for his famous tagline, “I am Chira, Brian Chira.” In the video, the woman talked about having a portal open in the spirit world, through which the spirits of deceased individuals communicate with her.
“Brian located me through the same portal and he is the reason I was posting all those things kwa social media. All those warnings, I didn’t believe like it is true. For once I thought it was, I was dreaming, and when I tried to say no to him, he showed me that he didn’t die through accident.’’
She claimed that Brian showed her a notebook. This she said as she broke into tears.
“He gave me the same hug my mum gave me”, she said. A hug she claims is a sign that the spirit will never return. She said that she knew because since the spirit of her mother gave her that hug it has never returned.

“Jude, Brian cried a lot about you. Jude Magambo…,” she said amidst her tears. Jude Magambo is a content creator who was an ally to Brian Chira.
She continued to name Chesoni and say that Brian loves him, adding that Brian Chira is not gone for good. That he would find a living creature whose body he would inhabit until he concluded his mission.
The lady was visibly emotional. Her speech was constantly interrupted by her bouts of tears.
Whether she was being truthful or cloutchasing is subjective. What is true is Chira’s fame endeared him to many, as evident in his burial which was attended by a huge mass of people.
Talking to the dead is considered a touchy subject for Christians. The Bible warns against speaking to the dead in Leviticus 19:31. “Do not turn to mediums or necromancers; do not seek them out, and so make yourselves unclean by them: I am the Lord your God.”
Pagans and practitioners of pagan religions engage with the spirits of deceased individuals. While African and Asian traditions pray to their ancestors for protection and strength, there is a distinction when it comes to communicating with the recently deceased. For instance, individuals who follow Wiccan beliefs often attempt to contact the dead.
Whether or not it is possible to communicate with the dead is a subjective matter that depends on one’s perspective and religious beliefs.
