Zari Hassan is officially off the market. The South African-based socialite got married in a lavish all-white all-white-themed wedding to her long-time boyfriend, Shakib Lutaya. The Ugandan socialite got married in South Africa.
The mother of five tied the knot to 31-year-old Shakib in Pretoria, South Africa. The two had been dating for around ten months before they got married. According to a video shared online, the ceremony was full of celebrity guests and family.
Before the wedding ceremony, their wedding invitation was leaked online causing a buzz online. Earlier in the year, the two held a traditional wedding in Pretoria. Which followed a visit to Shakib’s family in Uganda.
On their special day, the forty-three-year-old was seen looking stunning wearing an ivory body-hugging dress with a long tail and a matching veil. Shakib stunned with a brown coat, white pants, and shirt.
The Young, famous, and African cast was seen in attendance except Diamond. Diamond and Zari dated for a couple of years and share two children together before they broke up. The two however co-parent.

Zari’s children were seen also dressed in white at the ceremony. Her first three children, she shared with her late lover. While her youngest daughter and the son she shares with Diamond. Zari and Shakib however do not have children together.
The newlywed couple began to date in 2022. Shakib’s ex-wife then accused Zari of stealing Shakib from her. Zari however denied those claims. Earlier this year there was leaked audio of Zari calling Shakib foolish causing scrutiny.
