After Akothee and Dennis Schweizer’s lavish and star-studded wedding in April this year, Kenyans were waiting for the second wedding that was set to happen in September but it did not happen.
Earlier this year, Akothee shared on her Instagram that any information about her relationship with Dennis would come at a cost. She also did an interview on Citizen where she got emotional on camera.
Akothee took to her Instagram to share a long cryptic message. She shared that she has been dealing with and trying to heal for the past two months after she made some ugly discovery. She added that she has been seeking help.
“I have come out of a very dangerous zone and have been healing in private. I am in my second month of therapy. The trauma I went through after finding out the truth and some ugly stuff that left me shaking.”
The Kenyan entrepreneur and singer expressed that she has been going without food and sleep. She adds that at some point she shakes uncontrollably without understanding why. Akothee then goes on to thank her close family and friends for being supportive as she goes through her healing process.
“I would be shaking for reasons I can’t explain and just remember that I still have work to do. I thank my friends, family, especially my children, my mum Beatrice, and my best friend Nelly Oaks, PLO, and Vj Adams.”
Akothee then made a plea to Kenyan bloggers to respect her privacy as she went through her healing process. She adds that she understands that her story is juicy gossip and promises once she is ready she will share and give details of what has been happening in her life.
“Please bloggers I know this is some sweet gossip but I ask you to give me some private moment. Allow me to go through this and once everything is okay and I am stable enough to talk about, I will be back with good news. We are fixing some stuff off-camera.”

The former president of single mothers then changed her Instagram name from Mrs. Schweizer to Akothee Kenya. Akothee also added new titles to her bio, including CEO of Akothee Safaris, CEO of Akothee Foundation, and Marketing Consultant.
The new change to her Instagram came after she shared the cryptic message to her Instagram page. Later, netizens noticed that Dennis Schweizer’s Instagram account of over 78k followers was no longer available. It is not yet known whether it is permanently deleted or temporarily disabled.
