In a joint operation, law enforcement agencies in Samburu County have arrested one suspect and successfully recovered 43 stolen goats, bringing relief to their rightful owner.
In the coordinated effort by officers from Kulamawe Police Station, Aramiet GSU Camp, Losesia GSU Camp, Archers Post Police Station, and NGAO officers from Waso Division, they managed to recover a significant number of stolen goats that had gone missing earlier this year.

According to the National Police Service (NPS), the stolen goats comprised 28 adults and 15 lactating ones. This Suspect had been reported at Kulamawe Police Station back in June.
The suspect, who has been identified as Lelengeju, is currently in police custody awaiting his day in court, where he will face charges related to the theft.
The successful recovery of the stolen livestock was a testament to the collaboration among law enforcement agencies, working together to ensure justice is served. The goats were carefully escorted to Kulamawe Police Station under the watchful eyes of the multi-agency team, where they were positively identified by the rightful owner.
