Kenyan Singer Vivian Launches A Book On Wellness

The theory behind a woman becoming better and achieving great things for herself after a breakup has been backed up by real-life cases. Kenyan singer Vivian is one of the women to prove this theory to be true.

The talented singer recently shared why she divorced her now ex-husband Sam West, who was also her music manager. During an interview, she shared that the marriage had been rocky for some time before the divorce.

Vivian shared that other factors like stored-up anger, betrayals and lack of trust also brought a rift between them. She shared that the divorce was not an easy one adding that she even lost her house and had to move to a small one next to her mother’s.

The singer bounced back like a phoenix from the ashes of a gruesome divorce and gave herself another chance with love. She then went back to school at the Amani Counselling Center to pursue psychology.

During this period, Vivian launched a wellness and personal development podcast called Art, Heart, and Hurt podcast. She went ahead to also launch her own Vivian Podcast that tackled somewhat similar issues.

Vivian shared that for years she knew she wanted to start a podcast to be a voice to speak about overall wellness. She added that musicians needed to know that they are more than their music and should not fix their identity solely on their art.

Recently, Vivian launched her book Take Back Your Power. According to Vivian, the book combines her expertise in music and psychology to guide readers towards finding inner peace, balance, and vitality.

Copies of the book are already out for purchase. The singer has broken stereotypes of female singers who are seen as shallow with little to offer, by using her platform to educate the masses on all things wellness.
