For her 42nd birthday, Beyoncé gave a star-studded performance on her Renaissance World Tour. Her birthday was filled with other famous celebrities from the beehive and surprise performances. Her outfits also slayed and her speech was heartfelt.
The California SoFi stadium was full of over 70,000 adoring fans as well as full VIP section. Queen Bey took her audience through her musical journey and gave them an electrifying performance giving the fans a feel of what it is like to attend Beyoncé’s birthday party.
Beyoncé opened the show with a sultry long black dress paired with solid black gloves and large diamond earrings that were fit for a queen. She began her performance with the song Dangerously in Love.
The mother of three then transitioned to a heartfelt speech captivating the large crowd with her words. The energy in the stadium lit up at that moment with her outfit, song, and speech creating a magical symphony.
“My heart is full. I’m so thankful I’m trying not to cry. I’m thankful to be alive, I’m thankful to be on stage I’m thankful to look into the crowd and see your faces. I’m thankful to be able to provide a safe space for all of y’all. I’m thankful for the music and the ability to heal myself through the music, which heals all of you.”
Queen Bey went on to thank her former band members from Destiny Child, both Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams.
“I’m thankful for every tear, every year.” She adds. “I’m thankful for my children, I’m thankful for my husband. I’m thankful for all the sh- we have been through. I’m thankful for my beautiful father who is here tonight. I’m thankful for my mother, my beautiful queen. I’m thankful that we all have the ability to make lemonade out of lemons.”
Then the crowd cheered as the iconic Diana Ross gave a surprise performance as she serenaded Happy Birthday for Beyoncé. The two shared an iconic moment on stage as Beyoncé thanked Ross and embraced. Under the guidance of Ross, the crowd transformed into a magnetic chorus.
The ‘hush challenge’ that was highly anticipated created a captivating moment. The stadium became silent for the six-second interlude. The silence showed the dedication of the crowd to celebrate Beyoncé.

The Drunk in Love hitmaker also unveiled one-of-a-kind merchandise for her 9/4 birthday show. A unique t-shirt featuring a majestic silver horse with the words Virgo’s groove at the front and Beyoncé b-day party was featured on the back of the design.
Kendrick Lamar then surprised the audience when he joined Beyoncé on stage to perform the remix of America Has a Problem. Although Kendrick faced technical issues when he began his verse allowing only a bit of his lyrics to be heard, the crowd cheered.
Numerous celebrities gathered to celebrate Beyoncé’s birthday party rocking silver outfits as requested by Beyoncé. Celebrities included Kim and Khloe Kardashian, Kris, Kendall, and Kylie Jenner. Timothée Chalamet, Katy Perry, Meghan Markle, Jeff Bezos, Lizzo, Chris Rock, Jennifer Hudson, Hale Bailey and loads more.
