After a long absence of more than ten years since their previous musical attempt, the famous punk-pop group Blink-182 is back in the spotlight.
The pop punk group will release “One More Time,” their first studio album with all three members since 2011. The album will be available to stream on Friday, October 20. The band members talked about coming back together in an album trailer. ‘What you need to understand about Blink-182 is that we didn’t come out of like joyous homes, we came from a lot of heartbreak, broken families, just fights, so Blink was always the way to force the happiness in the room.’ DeLonge said.

According to Travis Barker, some of the tragedies the band members have experienced over the years served as inspiration for the new record. He notes that the song “One More Time” on the album is about why it takes tragedies like him being in a plane crash or Mark getting sick for the band to reunite.
In a Learjet tragedy that claimed the lives of four out of the six occupants, Barker was seriously hurt. Hoppus also disclosed that he was receiving cancer treatment in 2021. Kourtney Kardashian, a reality celebrity and businesswoman, underwent “urgent fetal surgery” most recently because she is expecting hers and Travis Barker’s first child together.

The band had to postpone their April tour due to the medical emergency. While Blink-182 released two albums with guitarist Matt Skiba, 2016’s “California” and 2019’s “Nine,” this is the band’s first new music in 12 years with its original lineup.
