Canadian rapper Tory Lanez is expected to be sentenced today after a delay. Tory Lanez was supposed to be sentenced on Monday but was postponed after the court proceedings went over time.
Tory Lanez has been in police custody since December after he was found guilty of three gun charges. The case started back in 2020 after a Kylie Jenner pool party. Tory was involved in a fight with Grammy winner and fellow rapper, Meghan Thee Stallion and allegedly shot her after things escalated.

The shooting is said to have left Meghan needing surgery to remove bullet fragments from her foot. Meghan was not able to attend the sentencing of Tory Lanez on Monday but issued a statement that was read in court.
The Savage singer said she could not bring herself to be anywhere near Tory. She shared that she had not had a moment of peace since the incident that happened back in July 2020. She accused Tory of making a mockery of her emotional distress, treating it like a joke, and refusing to take accountability.
Meghan further said that Tory has been blaming everyone but himself for his actions. He first started by blaming the system and now blames his childhood trauma. Meghan adds that if he had been contrite, she would have been able to heal emotionally sooner.
