The hustler actress, Keke Palmer and fitness instructor, Darius Jackson have split up after 2-years together. The two welcomed their first child, Leodis Andrellton Jackson together in February. This comes days after Usher released his new music video, Boyfriend that stars Keke.
Last month, Darius was on the spot for outfit-shaming Keke Palmer. Keke was wearing a black sheer dress with a thong body suit while she attended the Usher concert in Vegas. Darius expressed his disappointment in Keke’s choice of dress on his X account, then called Twitter.
Darius received backlash for showing his disapproval publicly instead of privately reaching out to his then girlfriend, Keke Palmer. Darius defended himself by saying as a family man, he has morals and values and him being open about his beliefs makes people call him a hater.
Keke did not directly respond to Darius but posted a carousel of her amazing outfit on her Instagram page. Usher also did not respond directly but thanked Keke for coming to his show and people took it as low-key shade thrown at Darius.

Usher’s new single has also sparked conversations with Keke being the face of his single cover, Boyfriend. In the video, Keke is seen throwing shade and addressing Darius in the video.
The music video starts with actress in Vegas getting ready to go for a girls’ night. She then locks eyes with Usher and she then changes to the same clothes Usher is wearing and can now dance like Usher. The video ends with Keke waking up and realising it was all a dream.
“I’m so tired,” she says before addressing the camera with a wink and adding: “I am a mother, after all.” Usher also throws shade in his lyrics, “Somebody said that your boyfriend’s lookin’ for me,” Usher sings
Darius and Keke met back in 2021 in a Memorial day party. Keke then announced she was expecting a child in late 2022 when she hosted Saturday Night Live. The ex-couple is yet to comment.
