Former United States President Donald Trump’s mugshot surfaced on the internet after his indictment in the Georgia election probe drawing a mix of reactions from social media users.
It is reported that the mugshot has seen the former president raise money in millions through merchandise. Trump has also received millions in donations since showing up on Thursday to have his mugshot taken, the first time in US history that has happened to a former president, according to his spokesperson Steven Cheung on X.

According to Cheung, Trump earned $4.18 million (Ksh 606 million) on Friday alone, making it the biggest day of his campaign so far. The total revenue generated by the Trump campaign, since he turned himself in to law enforcement, has reached $7.1 million as a result of a variety of collectibles bearing the mugshot as of Sunday. T-shirts featuring the mugshot and the phrase “NEVER SURRENDER” priced at $34.95, mugs for $30, and bumper stickers for $12 were among the selection of items.
Trump admitted that his Thursday appearance was a “terrible experience” and that it was “not a comfortable feeling” to pose for the famous photograph, but his campaign was quick to capitalize on its ability to raise money.
