Celebrated Kenyan singer Vivian, has come out to speak about heartbreak and moving on after she confirmed her separation from Producer Sam West last year.

In an exclusive interview with journalist Lynn Ngugi, the singer said that the breakup was sudden and in turn affected her music career considering Sam West doubled up as her manager.
Vivian also addressed rumors concerning the reason for the end of her marriage, saying that they had a mutual agreement with her husband not to have any more children and that was not the reason that they separated. She revealed that she is now a single mother and is working on healing herself to create a safe space for her child.
I am happy. I started walking into my happy space like a couple of weeks ago. I have my pockets of panic and fear but because of my spiritual journey and the vigor of that space, the new patterns and the new life I’m creating because my life did an overhaul after the separation.
Vivian said.

She also delves deep into her healing journey saying that she went into depression after the separation. Vivian talks about having suicidal thoughts before she went into therapy to help her navigate the breakup. She clarified that she has no bad blood with her ex-husband and she is happier than she was before.

The couple had a public proposal, on live television, after which they got married in March 2018.
