Reality star and entrepreneur Zari Hassan has taken to social media to celebrate graduands from her Brooklyn City College in South Africa.
In a post captioned, ‘Education is not preparation for life; education is life itself.” John Dewey’, the mother of five expressed her joy in the fact that her institution was growing to provide education and training to young people across disciplines.

The school was founded in 2018 by Zari and her late husband Ivan Ssemwanga and has several branches across South Africa including; Durban, Johannesburg, Pretoria, and Polokwane. The colleges offer courses in business, Information Technology, and engineering among others.
We are justifiably proud of our academic performance but education means so much more than top grades. Arts, sports, community service, and adventure are all central to the balanced programs we offer at Brooklyn City College and we are acutely aware of our responsibility to prepare young people to be confident, caring and responsible citizens. Good Schools are built on the efforts of good people and I believe that our lecturers and students are among the very best. Here is to another year of graduating

The South Africa-based entrepreneur appointed her first-born son, Pinto Ntale as the director of the schools in January 2022 in a move to transfer the inheritance to her children.
