Teaming up with DJ Latitude and renowned producer Iambeatz, the music artist effortlessly blends Swahili, Yoruba, and English lyrics to generate a captivating story of love and pursuit.
“Labalaba,” meaning “Butterfly,” captures the essence of a guy trying to win the heart of a girl who plays hard to get, as evidenced by her “Butterfly” behavior. Ayanfe’s infectious artistry adds depth and complexity to the track, making it a hit among other soulful-amapiano music.
Since bagging a record deal with ALPHA NATION, Ayanfe has been on a trajectory of success. Prior to his current record deal, he had a fruitful stint with Davido’s renowned music label, DMW, collaborating with industry heavyweights such as Mayorkun and Davido on his previous singles.
With a promising career in the making, Ayanfe is set to release his highly anticipated EP in the fourth quarter of this year, promising to captivate audiences with his artistry and fresh sound.
Ayanfe is planning to commence an African tour, starting in East Africa during the second quarter of 2023. The tour will cover Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda, offering fans across the region an opportunity to experience his thrilling performances on sight.
