Esther Akoth, popularly known as Akothee, previously disclosed that her two sons, Prince Ojwang and Prince Oyoo, will not be present at her wedding.
Her boys, who live in France, did not attend the wedding, according to Akothee, due to school obligations. Akothee however confirmed her two sons will be there for the second ceremony, which will be held in Switzerland on July 10.

When Akothee welcomed her third-born daughter, Fancy Makadia, who had travelled from France ahead of the wedding, she made the announcement.
“Don’t bring propaganda and family politics to my wedding. The only people who will miss my wedding are my two sons who will not make it because of school rules, but they will witness the one which is scheduled to take place on July 10. All year Akothee is getting married,” she earlier said.
Many people were startled when Akothee said that she spent Ksh 624,000 on her wedding gown and Ksh 156,000 on her shoes.

She characterised her shoes as ideal for her wedding because they are comfy enough to be worn all day without creating discomfort.
Akothee had indicated that she wants to be buried in her wedding gown, which would save her family time wasted hunting for funeral clothing.
