The entrepreneur and podcast host Murugi Munyi congratulated Akothee on finding true love in Omosh (Dennis) her husband. After Akothee and Dennis got married Murugi Munyi admired Akothee for breaking the stereotype that single mothers cannot find love again.
She advises single mothers in Kenya to emulate Akothee. Murugi Munyi applauds Akothee for living her life unapologetically not giving a listening ear to haters and trolls on the internet. Many believe that if one is a single mother in a failed relationship they would never find love with someone else and they will leave and lead a lonely life.
Contrary to this Akothee is living proof that anyone can find love despite anything. Single motherhood does not define who one is as a person.

Murugi Munyi went on to advise women that they should not settle for less. Just because a man shows you affection does not mean he has a good person. A woman should know their worth and get a man who treats them right. If Akothee did it so can everyone else
“I actually love the stereotypes that Akothee is breaking just by living her life out loud. Living her life boldly and confidently and unapologetically. Imagine you are there twenty-seven years old with one child and you are like ‘Oh my God! Who is going to love me, I don’t think I will find love again, it didn’t work out with my baby daddy, I just don’t think am ever going to… imagine if she had that attitude?
“She is just out here, she just like knows she is a boss-ass babe. She knows that she is gorgeous, she knows that she is smart, intelligent, she is financially stable. She is just out there doing her thing and she keeps finding love over and over again. I love that for her.” Murugi Munyi posted.
