Chief Administrative Secretary – Ministry of Interior, Millicent Omanga, has turned to the Bible in response to what after alleged nude photos and videos surfaced online on Monday, April 17, that instantly went viral on social media.
Omanga did not specifically mention the circulating nude photo or any other specific situation in her post. However, the verse has been interpreted by some as a message of strength and resilience in the face of adversity.
“Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpent and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall hurt you,” Omanga said quoting Luke 10:19.
She ended the post by wishing her followers a “Blessed day,” which has been seen by some as a positive and optimistic message.
