It looked like Manchester United was in control of this tie following two early goals in the first half by Sabitzer, however, two late goals from Sevilla in the second half kept levelled things at full time.
Scorer: Sabitzer 14′, 21′; Malacia 84′ (OG), Maguire 90+2′ (OG)
Astonishingly, two own-goals beat David de Gea as Tyrell Malacia and Harry Maguire turned the balls into their own net.

United’s problems intensified after first-choice centre-backs Lisandro Martinez and Raphael Varane were forced out of the game through injury.
United, who had used all five substitutes, were reduced to 10 men when defender Martinez was helped off with the home side leading 2-1.
Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag says Lisandro Martinez’s injury during the Europa League quarter-final with Sevilla was concerning, however reports coming in from Carrington indicate it might not as bad as his boss thought.

What United boss Erik Ten Hag said
“We’ve seen with Martinez he drops out after a moment where there was no opponent involved so that doesn’t look that great, so we’re going to have to wait. I can’t tell what it is, but it’s not the Achilles area.
“I can’t say at this moment and the same with Rafa. I haven’t spoken to Rafa after the game but it’s an injury he’s complained about over the past couple of weeks so we have to see how it is now.”

Manchester united Leadership issues
Five-time Manchester United Premier League winner Schmeichel criticised his former club’s “lack of leadership” as Martinez lay injured.
Schmeichel was unimpressed as home players allowed Martinez to be helped off the pitch by fellow Sevilla’s Montiel and Acuna.
“It looks like the Sevilla players are nice carrying him off the pitch. No, they wanted him out so they could get going,” said Schmeichel, who was at Old Trafford for BBC Radio 5 Live.
“By carrying him off, it didn’t stop their momentum, Manchester United used their five subs so they knew he wouldn’t come back.
“It didn’t give the manager or the players the opportunity to have a conversation. United’s players should have stopped that, leave him on the pitch, let them [the physios] come on and carry him out and in that period, you regroup.
“This is something the players need to do, that’s a lack of leadership on the pitch. Harry Maguire should have managed that situation. “
