Saudi Pro League side Al Nassr has confirmed terminating their contract with head coach Rudi Garcia with seven games left to end of the season
Rudi Garcia has ‘mutually terminated’ his contract with Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al Nassr. This is according to a statement on Thursday by the Saudi Pro League club, as reported by DailyMail. The former Ligue 1-winning manager, with Lille, has been dismissed after less than a year in charge, having also failed in advancing to the final of the Saudi Cup following a semi-final exit.
A statement on social media read: ‘Al-Nassr can announce that Head Coach Rudi Garcia has left the Club by mutual agreement.
‘The board and everyone at Al-Nassr would like to thank Rudi and his staff for their dedicated work during the past 8 months.’
Ronaldo reportedly became increasingly frustrated with Garcia and informed the club, and Al Nassr has sided with its star signing, according to the Saudi press via AS.
