Four people are reported dead and multiple injured after a Bus belonging to Tahmeed Company was involved in an accident at Kibunja on Nakuru-Eldoret highway.
According to the driver of the bus who escaped with minor injuries late on Monday, April 17, he was attempting to avoid colliding head-on with a lorry when he lost control of the vehicle and knocked some students who were walking alongside the road from the school.
Kuresoi North Police Commander, Judah Gathenge, confirmed the incident, saying the injured persons were rushed to Molo Sub-County and Nakuru Level 6 hospitals for treatment.

Molo Sub-County Hospital Medical Superintendent, Dr. Susan Wanjiku, said in a statement that 17 people are still receiving treatment at Molo Hospital while two of the patients have been transferred to Nakuru PGH Hospital for further medical attention.
The wreckage of the Bus was pulled to Mau Summit Police Station as investigations into the incident continue.
