Jay Z’s net worth has increased to $2.5 billion (Ksh 329 billion), according to an update by Forbes which was released on Friday, March 24.
According to the circulated news, Jay Z’s net worth has almost doubled since last year when it was reported he was worth $1.4 billion (Ksh 184 billion).
On Friday, the Magazine reported that the Roc Nation founder is now the 1,203rd Wealthiest person on the planet Earth.

Jay-Z’s current net worth comes after he sold the 50 percent stake of his D’Usse Cognac back to its parent company Bacardi for a reported $750 million (Ksh 98.6 billion) in February after an extreme court confrontation.
He still retains ownership of the brand. The report indicates that the Grammy Award-winning artist’s fortune is from his various investments, not just music as distinguished by many.

“The Brooklyn-born rapper was crowned Hip-hop’s first billionaire by Forbes in 2019, thanks to a sprawling and diversified empire,” the news report adds, noting his assets range from his Roc Nation entertainment and sports empire to “a fine-art collection including works by Jean-Michel Basquiat.”
