“Inakaa ya kibanda” and other short stories unfolded in a battle of who makes top-tier spaghetti beef, on Kitchen Safari. Was it shade or not?
This week’s episode of Kitchen Safari was going down with the gender wars, on who presents the best spaghetti and beef dish between Muki, (the boychild) and Zuleka (the girlchild). It was a tight race, that had Kush Tracey, the show’s host torn between pledging allegiance to a fellow woman or supporting the boychild.
The heat was intense, (literally) but both the competitors put their sweat and tears into it. Throughout the culinary tug of war, Kush Tracey kept engaging the competitors in a series of questions about their school life, careers, and whatnot. That is how the world found out Kush and needles do not sit well in the same sentence, ha!
After it all, the judge herself got to experience the best of both worlds and gave it to Muki, for having the most flavored beef, (turns out IT is not his only forte). It was a close one though since Kush awarded him 8.5 while Zuleka had an 8.45 out of 10 for losing touch with the salt.
Even then, Zuleka got a little taste of victory for having the best plating and presentation.

It is safe to say that beef (cow meat) was not the only one cooking in that kitchen, as the competitors went for each other’s throats; Muki complained that Zuleka’s food is one step away from being similar to that of a local joint, “inakaa ya kibanda”. Zuleka retaliated, saying he only won the challenge because of adding pepper.
