President Ruto Commissions Police Sacco Stadium in Nairobi

President William Ruto on Friday, February 3, commissioned the opening of Kenya National Police DT Sacco Stadium in South C, Nairobi county.

Speaking during the Kenya Police Sacco 50th anniversary celebrations and opening of the football stadium, Ruto smartly clarified his commitment towards the development focus under the Kenya Kwanza regime.

“It is a clear signal that we have witnessed five decades of various growth, incremental achievement, and transformative impact. I guess each one of you has a directive story of success in your membership in this organization”, said Ruto.

The Head of State also talked about the launch of a new product, Hustler Fund Micro Credit (HFMC) that will allow Saccos and groups to borrow on behalf of their members by the end of the month.

The President also added that the government will support the Cooperative Societies to improve access to credit and nurture a culture of savings among Kenyans.

Present during the event includes Interior Principal Secretary Raymond Omolo, Senior Police Officers, Nairobi county governor Johnson Sakaja, and Cooperative and MSMEs Development Cabinet Secretary Simon Chelugui.
