According to multiple sources, it has been announced that former Manchester United forward and England international Mason Greenwood is expecting a child.
This unexpected turn of events is clearly reason enough to show that the couple is still on good terms despite the rape and assault allegations that saw Greenwood lose his spot on the Manchester United team and get suspended from football amid investigations.
Criminal proceedings against the 21-year-old were discontinued and charges were dropped on Thursday, February 2. However, he remains suspended by Manchester United amid an internal investigation by the club.
According to theSun, Greenwood recently met with United’s top officials as the club looks to account for his version of events as they conclude internal investigations.
On Sunday, Manchester United face Newcastle United in the final of the Carabao Cup, hoping to end a 6-year trophy drought.
