Billionaire Elon Musk has reclaimed his title as the world’s richest person, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, with a net worth of $ 187 billion.
Musk has surpassed France’s Bernard Arnault to reclaim the title of the world’s richest person.
Elon Musk accomplished this feat as a result of an increase in Tesla stock prices. Tesla stock has increased by 92% year to date.

Elon Musk’s net worth was approximately $187 billion, surpassing Bernard Arnault’s $185 billion fortune, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index.
However, Tesla CEO Elon Musk’s net worth fell by more than $200 billion between November and December of last year, making it one of the largest wealth losses in recent history.
Tesla’s stock closed 5.46% higher at $207.63 on Monday. In the meantime, it has increased by nearly 20% in the last month. Tesla’s stock gains have outpaced the Nasdaq 100 index’s rally, which is up about 11% in 2023.
The Bloomberg Billionaires Index ranks the world’s wealthiest people on a daily basis. The wealth figures in New York are updated at the end of each trading day.

Elon Musk is the CEO of Tesla and is well-known for his numerous business ventures and technological advancements. Musk is also the CEO of SpaceX, a rocket manufacturing company, and has a stake in Twitter, a social networking company.
Elon Musk made an offer to buy Twitter Inc for $44 billion in April 2022. The transaction will be completed in October 2023. Elon Musk, after taking over as CEO of Twitter, cut over 3,700 jobs, or half of the company’s workforce. Twitter recently announced its eighth round of layoffs, and Mr Musk’s administration fired more than 50 people.
Last week, Musk confirmed that he has unblocked everyone on the microblogging platform, calling “negative feedback a good thing”.
