Social media influencer and radio presenter, Azziad, took to her Instagram to thank the Ministry of youth affairs, sports, and art team for nominating her to be part of the creative technical committee.
Azziad promised to work hard and support the growth of the creative centre. She is going to use the skills learned through her years of experience being a digital content creator.
She expressed her readiness to work with other colleagues to fulfil the task given to her by the Ministry of youth affairs and art team.

I am a firm believer in the potential of the creative economy as a fulfilling career and source of income, and beneficiary of the same.
I, therefore, commit to applying my knowledge and experiences gained in the digital space as a content creator to support the growth of the creative sector and ensure that the vision of Talanta Hela is realized. I am ready to work with fellow colleagues in the committee and all industry stakeholders to fulfil the mandate bestowed upon me.

Many of her fans wished her well and congratulated her in the comment section including renowned Kenyan Model Rue baby and Songstress Akothee who is also on the creative and technical committee.
There are various known Kenyan celebrities on the committee leading them as the chairman is comedian and radio presenter Churchill.
However, there are some naysayers who believe that Azziad should have not gotten the position because she has no experience. Among them is The Kileleleshwa county assembly member Robert Alai.
He expressed his dissatisfaction on Twitter saying he is not sure about Azziad’s competence and she does not have enough knowledge about the creative economy. But many netizens came to Azziad’s defense and supported her fully.
