President William Ruto on Friday, January 6 uplifted the value of teamwork during the Cabinet retreat at the Fairmont Mt Kenya Safari Club in Nanyuki.
Ruto emphasized the greatness of working together to avoid unnecessary misunderstandings and deliver as one government under the umbrella of Kenya Kwanza.
“We have about 300 government services that are digitized and it is my expectation that the 5,000 un-digitized services will be digitized in the next 6 months,” Ruto said.
The Head of State also reiterated the use of technology to close gaps in tax collection and use, as well as the packaging of government initiatives into business opportunities.

He emphasized the value of a bottom-up strategy and said that during the retreat, ministries should develop timetables for prioritizing manifesto promises.

The next budget would point to finishing up ongoing programs and would reflect the priorities of the Hustler Nation ideology.
Further, William Ruto urged government representatives to look beyond their own villages and counties, saying that they need to understand Kenya’s landscape at large.
