LGBTQ rights activists Edwin Chiloba is dead. His lifeless decomposed body was stuffed in a metallic box along the Kipenyo-Katinga road in Uasin Gishu. The police verified that the body in the metallic box was Edwin Chiloba.
Some motorbike riders saw a vehicle whose number plate was concealed throw the box along the road and they alerted the police.
When the police opened the box they found his body dressed in feminine clothing. They took his body to Moi Teaching and referral hospital for a post-mortem.

Four Months Ago, it was established by Nairobi news that Edwin Chiloba was attacked by assailants who did not support the LGBTQ identities.
He suffered many injuries like a large cut on his upper lip and blood tricking down from the upper part of his face. His clothes were torn and dirty and he had cuts and bruises on his face.
Edwin Chiloba last posted on his Instagram account on December 29, 2022 showing that he had a lot planned for 2023 like growing his fashion brand and working alongside major and big companies.
“In 2023, I have a big dream to see my work showcased maybe in New York like also to be that big fashion high god. I have a lot of things that I really want to achieve to build my brand and also to inspire people to be the best version of themselves. I really love to see people just doing themselves, doing what they love, and spreading love. That is my happiness,” said the late Edwin Chiloba.
Many took to their social media accounts their grief and condolences among them was Dennis Nzokia who wished him a peaceful rest on Twitter.
