The detectives based at Kasarani arrested three suspects on Monday, January 30 night found them in possession of the stolen properties in Githurai 44, Nairobi.
Director of Criminal Investigations (DCI) boss Amin Mohamed said that Joel Njoroge, John Warui, and Francis Itaru were arrested following a tip-off from the public.
“They were arrested after their plan to sell stolen properties including electronics was disrupted by the detectives following a tip-off,” said Amin Mohamed DCI boss.
“The detectives who were on patrol within Kasarani had received information regarding 2 vehicles that were transporting the goods for sale in Githurai 44 and arrested the thugs as they attempted to sell them to traders dealing with electronics in the area,” Amin Mohamed added.

A search carried out in their car led to the recovery of forged number plate stickers, a bunch of master keys, an HP Laptop, and assorted House-Breaking tools.
The three suspects will be charged with possession of the stolen properties.
