“It is now time to keep the promise. There is a QR Code near you. Scan and access the scholarship now. A 16-unit course that would have cost you Ksh.100,000, is now accessible to you for free, courtesy of the Innovation Jamhuri,” President Ruto said.

The courses are provided by the Thunderbird School of Global Management at Arizona State University which offers programs designed to prepare students to navigate the dynamic digital world.
This was in fulfillment of the celebration’s agenda of ICT, themed; connect, innovate, inspire. The government’s plan to kickstart digitization of all government records in the next 5 years is underway.
This program aims to reduce the cost of living and create jobs for young people through the incorporation of technology.
