Providing clarity through a signed affidavit, the Legislator notified the court to set him free, noting that he barely escaped losing his Parliamentary seat given the number of sittings he had missed respectively.
“From a significant viewpoint, the applicant will greatly miss the Parliamentary sessions, leading to loss of his seat or Failure of Representation of the Sirisia Constituency people in the National Assembly,” the Legislator said in the Court on Friday.
Waluke was jailed with his associate Grace Wakhungu for reportedly defrauding Ksh297 million from the NCPB-National Cereals and Produce Board in 2004.
