The Red Devils had to come from behind twice against Aston Villa in the second half of the final Carabao Cup third-round fixture.
The Carabao Cup Fourth-Round Draw Fixtures are out and Manchester United got a much-needed victory on Thursday night. United have been drawn against Burnley.
Four goals in the second half brought a rather dull game back to life. Goals by Antony Martial and Marcus Rashford canceled out Ollie Watkins’ opening goal and an own goal by Diogo Dalot.
Bruno Fernandes in the 78th minute and Scott McTominay in added time sealed the win for United.

In-form Alejandro Garnacho was a standout performer on Thursday night, despite coming on as a substitute. Two assists, for Bruno and McTominay to win it for United.
Victor Lindelof and Harry Maguire struggled at the back, a strong indication of Varane and Martinez as the stronger pair in defense.
Fred and Donny Van De Beek put in dismal performances on Thursday night at Old Trafford. The pair were substituted in the second half. Eriksen showed his class once again, coming in for Fred, and improving United’s midfield against Kamara and Douglas Luiz for Aston Villa.
Martin Dubravka started in goal, while United’s first-team goalkeeper De Gea watched from the bench.
