“Even those 50 police officers sent by Uhuru are forgiven,” Gachagua said.
He also added that the police who frustrated President William Ruto and him during the political campaigns were forgiven.
The DP said that police should know that they too have families and should not allow this to happen to anyone.
“Siku ingine musifanyie binadamu vile mumetufanyia, Mungu akiwapa nafasi ya kufanya (When given such opportunities again do not frustrate a human being like that),” he said.
He said that Kenyans need to embrace forgiveness to move forward.
“President William Ruto and I have forgiven everyone so that we can move forward as a country,” he said.
He urged Former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko to forgive all those who frustrated him.
