Miguna Miguna Calls off Standard Group Interview

Earlier today lawyer Miguna Miguna revealed the indemnity form he was forced to sign by Standard Group before the interview that forced him to cancel the interview with Spice Fm and KTN Home scheduled on Monday 24, October.

Miguna expressed his concerns that he was supposed to sign the guest indemnity form before appearing for the interview hosted by Journalist Eric Latiff, Charles Muga, and Ndu Okoh.

Miguna went further and shared the rules in the form of social media.

“I hereby release, discharge, and agree to fully indemnify the Company its legal representatives and assigns, from all claims, causes of action, and liability of any kind, now known or unknown, in law or in equity out of the Interview including, without limitation to claims of defamation, invasion of privacy, violation of one’s personal and/or sensitive data,” stated part of the indemnity form.

According to Miguna Miguna has never been asked to sign such a form in past interviews.

“I’ve appeared on TV and radio for the past 30 years but not once has a media house – including Standard Kenya and KTN News asked me to sign a blanket indemnity form. Spice FM has never asked any of its previous guests to sign the ridiculous form they tried to force on me,” Miguna said.
