Inside Politics; Tourism Cabinet Secretary nominee Penina Malonza gives other options to prove her significance to Kenyan citizens at large.

Speaking to the media on Wednesday, October 26, 2022, Malonza promised to prove that she can deliver the required Government necessities in terms of developments despite facing tough times regarding her position as Cabinet Secretary.

Putting factual issues on the table of understanding, the former Kitui Deputy Governor, assured the country that she was ready to handle the task magnificently.

“It’s time to show my true colors to the Kenyan citizens as far as developments are concerned,” Tourism Cabinet Secretary nominee-Malonza said told Nation.

Giving a point of view, the CS nominee mentioned that she was in a tense state while in the demanding seat.

Showing deemed confidence, Malonza wondered how she experienced anxiety while responding to some of the concerns posed by the National Assembly vetting committee.

I have truly gained more confidence those I have worked with know the credibility also having served as Deputy Governor and been elected into politics three times the CS nominee said in a statement Yesterday.  

 “I will work for hand in hand to deliver to all Kenyan citizens without any fear, hence increasing productivity in line with also my solid competencies is what I am she stated.

On the other hand, the Cabinet Secretary nominee also gave the alarm to Kenya’s National Assembly for overturning the committee’s recommendations in dropping her from the approval list.

Furthermore, during the vetting process at the National Assembly, Malonza was given a task by the Member of Parliament to explain solid facts that she misquoted during the interview.

Providing a general viewpoint, the National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetangula also advised the Cabinet Secretary nominee to avoid misquoting figures and statements.

“Not everyone is perfect in every situation, it is which method you will use in the office if we approve you, hence you can say formulating policies, and legislation is a key roadmap. The responses simply show good answers,” National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetangula advised.
