The full weekend schedule for the Japanese Grand Prix, which will take place from 7-9 October, as the 2022 F1 season moves into its final stages.
Just days after racing in Singapore, F1 returns to action this weekend as the 2022 season continues with the Japanese Grand Prix.
Max Verstappen holds a 104-point lead in the World Championship standings and could potentially clinch his second title at Suzuka, on what will be Formula 1’s first visit to the iconic track since 2019.
But with the Red Bull driver having had a difficult race last time out at the Marina Bay Street Circuit, can he bounce back this weekend, or will Ferrari pose a challenge?
The weekend will follow the usual format, with two 60-minute practice sessions taking place on Friday. FP1 is scheduled for 04:00 UK time, with FP2 following at 07:00.
On Saturday, FP3 will be held at 04:00 UK time, ahead of qualifying at 07:00. This will determine the grid for Sunday’s 53-lap Japanese Grand Prix, which starts at 06:00.
