Agnetta has been working as an artillery officer since she received her commission in 2003. Additionally, she participated in a UN Observer Mission.

Similarly, Col. Fabian Lengusuranga was commissioned in 1999 while working as a seasoned and decorated military officer serving as a senior Special Forces branch commander.

Appointment of ADC is done with the aid of the National Defence Council.

During Uhuru Kenyatta’s 10-year administration, Brig. Lekolool was one of the three ADCs he had. He was the initial ADC chosen from the Navy.

Lekolool was Uhuru’s ADC until September 13, when William Ruto ascended to power.

Other key roles an ADC performs away from the obvious perceived standing behind the President and opening doors when the Head of State travels include detail leader, assistant detail leader, tactical commander, motorcade lead, advance lead, mobile agent, static agent, and protective intelligence agent.
