The survivors expressed their horror upon sight of the 17-year-old who stormed the house with a dagger in hand stabbing a woman, 48, and her sister, 35, accusing them of supporting his dad’s rival.

Jane Kibe and her sister Peris Wanjiru are still recovering from the shock of being assaulted by the young knife-wielding attacker, who was said to be a close friend of their son and even often visited them.

According to Jane Kibe’s narration first reported by Standard, the minor entered the house through the main entrance which was open and proceeded to their bedroom where he stabbed Jane 18 times and Wanjiru 9 times, leaving them nursing serious injuries.

“I was shocked when the boy stormed into the bedroom fuming with anger. He has been visiting us and I knew him as our neighbour’s son. I didn’t read any mischief at first. I didn’t understand how I had wronged him. He pushed me to the bed and started to stab me. The boy accused me of not supporting his father who is a parliamentary candidate,” said Jane kibe.

Wanjiru who had been in the bathroom heard the commotion upon responding found the high school student holding a knife and her sister on the bed bleeding.

“The boy is a good friend of my son and even often visits us. When I got into the room, I could not believe my eyes when I saw my sister bleeding and him holding the blood-stained knife, He stabbed me nine times, three of which were very deep on the back and legs. He nearly severed one of my fingers. When we raised alarm, the boy dashed out of the house,” said Wanjiru.
