Sensational Nigerian singer Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu alias Burna Boy has gotten into an online spat with Wizkid’s fanbase, also known as Wizkid FC.
The rivalry began on Sunday, August 21, when one of Wizkid’s die-hard fans, popularly known as Mdee, represented Wizkid FC live on AIT TV News channels.
Days later, Burna Boy was captured in a video that has made rounds on social media, watching Mdee’s live interview and reacting in a way that irritated Wizkid Fc.
“I no like the way them dey regard this Wizkid Fc, yes nah because them to de wan bad, I no like the way them de hail Wizkid FC, I de pain me,” said Burna Boy.

Wizkid fans not pleased by Burna Boy’s reaction, they took to Twitter to brutally call out the “on the low” hitmaker, as reported by Trendy Hip Hop.
Burna Boy adding fuel to the fire shared a fabricated report about him that he claimed was created by Wizkid Fc.
Offset, an American rapper, claimed in the alleged false posts that he voiced a record with Burna instead of Wizkid because he couldn’t afford Wizkid but could afford Burna Boy.
The second fabricated post allegedly edited by Wizkid Fc is a post reportedly made by Burna Boy’s ex-lover, Stefflon Don. The two split because he was impotent, according to the post.
“Nope this was all doctored and done by Wizkid delusional Twitter FC,” Burna Boy dismissed the report.
Burna Boy then tweeted a photo of Mdee, quoting the tweet with a video of Prof. Wole Soyinka speaking about history, sparking further controversy.
Wizkid and Burna Boy previously collaborated on the song B’Dor, which was released in December 2021.
Wizkid expressed his admiration for both Burna Boy and Davido, a Nigerian singer, during his performance at the Afronation music festival in Portugal.
“I got love for Burna Boy and I got love for Davido. I want to tell you today,” expressed Wizkid.
Barna Boy’s recent uproar has surprised some of their fans.
