Citizen TV host Trevor Ombija has addressed allegations that a woman is keeping him. It has been reported that Trevor is dating the stunning woman he was seen with at Syombua Osiany’s recent INUKA event, which took place at the University of Nairobi.
It is alleged in screenshots posted by blogger Edgar Obare that the woman, who runs two well-known eateries in the area, was funding Trevor’s life. Before she met the handsome journalist with the husky voice who always drove ladies crazy, the lady had dated a wealthy politician who had funded her.
Speaking to a local publisher, Trevor refuted the woman’s sponsoring claims by stating that he is employed. “I have a job and a very public Job. I don’t need anyone to sponsor anything,” he stated.
When asked if he is dating the stunning woman, he said: “There are more important things that Kenyans should be worried about, not who am dating.”
Last year, the charming Citizen TV host, whose deep voice never fails to make ladies melt stated he was still unmarried following the breakup of a woman he had been dating for ten years. In order to formally establish their relationship, he also admitted that he had paid dowry.
“I was badly heartbroken. I am single and not looking because I need to fix myself first. Everybody deserves the best version of the other person. Don’t go into a relationship when you are broken. Right now I will admit it,” Trevor said.
Despite the ups and downs of their ten-year relationship, Trevor claimed he couldn’t have wished for a breakup with his ex-girlfriend, whom he loved the most.
“I am from a relationship that lasted 10 years. It is one of those relationships that were over, then they are back again. I actually took dowry to her home six years ago, and then she suddenly left. She said that she needed to find herself,” he added.
Trevor attempted to repair the relationship as was expected, but his attempts were unsuccessful.
