Diamond Platnumz, the executive producer of Wasafi Classic Baby, has expressed his enthusiasm for producing numerous Bongo stars.
The musician expressed his extreme pride in having created so many superheroes in a recent interview with DW, which Simulizinasauti reshared on Instagram.
Diamond claimed that ever since he made his first recording of a song, he had always envisioned inspiring other young people. Diamond was proud to introduce a number of Bongo musicians that are now well-known.
“After I had just dropped my first hit so that people could recognise my music, I got a feeling that I had to empower more youth and that is why I started the Wasafi Classic Baby (WCB) record label,” he said.
“I introduced many artistes but I have not just introduced artistes but superheroes. So now they are role models to other youths and that is what I want to do. I want to use my platform to empower more so they can also empower other people. As Africans we need to empower others,” he added.
In a different article, Rayvanny announced his departure from WCB after working there for six years.
The artist posted an emotional video on Instagram in which he looked back on his time at WCB and the accomplishments he had made while working with the record label. The brief video featured Rayvanny reflecting on his early career and his friendly working relationship with Diamond Platnumz.
