The Global Peace Foundation Kenya (GPF) hosted an education transformation conference 2022 to deter violent extremism, that is prone to occur during the election period.
The GPF conference, held at The Boma Hotels on Wednesday, July 27, 2022, from 9:00 AM to 4:55 PM, made significant progress in examining the responsibilities of stakeholders in altering education in the future and avoiding uncertainties.
Regarding elections, the foundation deployed pacifist teaching as a way to prevent violence, which often breaks out on election day.
The role of NGOs in fostering educational reform, policy frameworks, curriculum development, and best practices for changing education in Kenya were also explored in the summit.

Serving as a conerstone to the Global Peace Kenya, Transforming Education Summit dwells considerably in collaborating with other institutions.
The institutions include,academia across the country, government, the private sector, and civil society organizations aiming to nurture character, creativity, innovation, and employability.
The foundation’s fundamental primary objective is to help and guide teachers, providing with them the autonomy to improve education by incorporating ethics and job-related competencies into secondary and higher education in order to enhance the standard of education.
The Global Peace Foundation, meanwhile, is a 2009-founded global nonprofit organization that is nonsectarian, nonpartisan, and pragmatic.
GPF’s main objective in Kenya however, is to reform education via initiatives that foster morality, inventiveness, and employability.
In Kenya, the Global Peace Foundation’s key focus is on transforming education through programs that nurture character, creativity, innovation, and employability.
Leading individuals and companies that were at the vanguard of transforming education in Kenya received the Transforming Education Award and 10 commendation certificates.
