Roots Party Presidential Candidate, Prof George Wajackoyah, says Snake poison serves as a medical supplementary to human beings and features as part of his Manifesto to the common mwananchi.
He says Kenya is one of the African countries with a large number of snakes that can produce snake doses for treatment purposes.
In his interview with Citizen, the Roots Party Presidential Candidate says a lot of Kenyans are beaten by snakes everyday but have to wait for snake doses from upcountry for treatment.
He, therefore feels Kenya has to establish its snake industry for the extraction of poison, as a way of curbing the threat.
“We are introducing snake farming in this country for poison extraction as a medical kit for our people. A lot of people are beaten by snakes in this country and we have to wait for snake doses from outside the country through pharmaceutical Corporations,” said Wajackoyah.
The law professor explained how Kenya had an equivalent number of snakes to that of China.
He said once the snake industry was thriving in Kenya, it would be easier to offset the country’s debts to China by offering them nonvenomous snakes as food, as a way of debt compensation.
“We have an equivalent figure of snakes like those which are located in China and one of the ways that we are going to offset their debt is by taking these snakes to China after extracting the poison in our manufacturing industries and then giving the nonpoisonous snakes to eat and inform them we offset their debt,” added Wajackoyah.
Prof. George Wajackoyah’s manifestos have raised controversy among Kenyans who feel that tempt to chase clout and not a vote seeker.
His snake agenda comes a week after he announced to replace the Nairobi Expressway flowers with marijuana if he gets elected as the 5th President of the Republic of Kenya.
He believes his controversial bhang agenda is an ideal plan to do away with the county’s debt and stabilize the country’s GDP for internal growth.
The professor, who reportedly has 17 degree certificates, promised to launch his manifesto next month exactly 60 days to the August polls, as he continues to drum up support for his presidential bid.
Wajackoyah’s announcement comes just days after he was on cleared by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) to contest for the presidency.
Meanwhile, he serves as one of four presidential candidates who has been cleared by IEBC to vie for the country’s top seat.
Among them are Raila Odinga (Azimio), Deputy President William Ruto (UDA), and Agano Party leader David Mwaure Waihiga.
