The three aforementioned names are allegedly accused of privately owning shares in ports in Kisumu , Mombasa, Lamu, Nairobi, and Naivasha and that Kenyans should not expect to benefit from the blue economy.

Following his statement on his Twitter account, the MP said the Mombasa economy is destroyed by a few individuals who practice the so-called “State capture.”

“The port of Mombasa is gone. It’s now privately owned,” said Mr. Mohammed.

However, the MP vowed to reinstate the Mombasa port if Kenya Kwanza will manage to form the new Government after the August 9, General Election.

“We now know our enemies and we shall reclaim it back on the 9th of August God willing,” added the Mp.

The Nyali Mp is seeking to clinch back his position that is eyed by numerous candidates who declared interest to vie in the same constituency.

Among the contenders is Joshua Otieno Ndere, Hassan Joho’s cousin Said ‘Saido’ Abdalla, Wiper women democrat’s national secretary Millicent Odhiambo, former Mombasa Youth Association chair Japheth Marine and Gema Mombasa County chair Crispus Waithaka, who all want to oust the incumbent.
